FLORALS AMONG THE FAUNA

Need another Summer dress in your life? Of course you do! Take the 1971 Reiss Lopez dress. This one’s extra special because we’ve teamed denim with a pretty floral print to create a dress that kicks this Summer trend into high gear. It’s fresh, youthful and perfect for parties, poolsides or frolicking around in the forest like our friend Daisy did.

If this still doesn’t satisfy your floral fetish then don’t forget to pick up the Farrah jeans and the Harry denim shorts that come in the same print. We’d advise not to wear all three pieces together however, sometimes it is in fact possible to have too much of a good thing.

SYLVIE, STYLED

Ever since we first saw the Sylvie playsuit in the 1971 Reiss Summer campaign, we’ve been waiting with bated breath for its arrival. So with an excited exhale, we are pleased to announced that it has at last arrived!

The great thing about Sylvie is that it can essentially solve any style dilemma. Wear with simple pumps and a blazer in the day or with a pair of statement heels and a clutch come cocktail hour. Those mega-watt sequins are sure to catch eyes wherever they make an appearance…

Although this arctic like weather is singlehandedly endorsing all forms of outerwear, let’s not forget that it’s worth investing in that ‘mid- layer’; the one that enables you to control your own personal micro-climate. Layering techniques are key at this time of year and our lightweight Ernst jacket is tailored perfectly to sit just under your trusted outside layer. This season’s series of 1971 denim stands out agreeably.  While some styles follow the historically popular classic blue denim, a few offer something a little more unique. Take the Ziggy magenta jean with cropped leg and ankle zip, and the Sian skinny with a croc embossed metallic finish. LEATHER UP

Despite the fact that it’s still August and we really should be enjoying what’s left of Summer, we can’t help but get very excited about wrapping up in our gorgeous selection of leather jackets!

Texture and detailing include utility pockets and zips, panelling and quilting, which give a refined functionality as well as a little bit of attitude!  Our take on this season’s massive trend, the aviator, has just arrived in store so be sure to grab yourself one quick!
