Happy hangover

Shhhhh, not too loudly…

It’s the start of a brand new year, and if your head is still pounding from last night’s celebrations, dressing up in your finest attire is probably the last thing on your mind.

However, this doesn’t mean you need to slip in the style stakes. Hangover style can be chic, cosy and utterly comforting.

Do parties, go debonair

Party dressing can be a tricky one for gents, especially for NYE. How dressed up to go? Should you accessorise? And, how to look cool without exuding too much effort?

After all, it’s a ladies prerogative to dazzle under the disco ball, but they can’t have all the fun come midnight, can they?

One sartorial failsafe is a flashy little scarf in a punchy print, perfect for knotting loosely or left open as a casual (yet stylish) afterthought to your party look.

Not too much deliberation has gone into this gentle piece of accessorising (or seemingly so at least), but it’s guaranteed to earn a nod of approval from rival gents and a wink of appreciation from the ladies.

Details can make all the difference and our Autumn/Winter collections pay great attention to textures, fabrics, patterns and design. To make sure none of this is overlooked, we’ll be bringing you our top desirable details of the season, whether it’s a specialised yarn, an elegant buckle or beautifully crafted lattice work.

Desirable Detail no.1 is found on the Eva platform, a shoe that combines a unique foil print of snake on 100% cow leather. Eva comes as part of a set made especially for our 40th Anniversary Editions, so keep an eye out for the Brookes belt and Kensington bag that will both be available in the same fine print.
